#News A Somali migrant openly called for jihad while in Minnesota, saying the fight is a religious duty and anyone who won't fight is a coward.

The migrant was speaking inside the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul while calling for jihad against Somaliland forces in the Las Anod conflict.

Critics say this is the mentality of migrants who currently live in the United States and question when these jihadists will turn on the U.S.
The speech was posted in 2023 during the Las Anod conflict, in which Dhulbahante clan forces and the SSC-Khatumo movement fought Somaliland troops after protests.
Fighting involved shelling, urban combat, and hundreds of deaths and injuries before Somaliland forces withdrew from key positions in August 2023.

Did you know that at least two men who worked in Siad Barre’s regime in Somalia and committed war crimes and horrible atrocities received military training in the United States?
After Somalia broke with the Soviet Union in 1977, the U.S. began military assistance in the early 1980s in exchange for base access.
A Library of Congress/country study source states that between 1981–84, the United States trained 126 Somali military personnel under the International Military Education and Training program at a cost of over $2.31 million. IMET is the standard program that sends foreign officers and specialists to the United States for courses.
The two I found were Gen. Mohamed Said Hersi Morgan, “Butcher of Hargeisa,” and Yusuf Abdi Ali, “Colonel Tukeh,” but others of the 126 could have committed war crimes as well.

A deleted 2013 Father's Day post from Rep. Ilhan Omar is back in the spotlight — and it could be a critical piece of the federal investigation into her identity and immigration records.
In the post, Omar referred to her father as "Nur Said," a name strikingly similar to that of her former husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi — the man she has been accused of secretly being related to. The Congressional Black Caucus and other records list her father's name as "Nur Omar Mohamed." Omar deleted the tweet on Sept. 19, 2019, the same year scrutiny over her marriage history intensified.
Federal agents searched Omar's D.C. residence on Oct. 12 as part of a criminal probe into possible false statements on immigration and naturalization documents. Court filings from that search identify her as "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, a.k.a. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar." The son of former Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre has reportedly been living in Ohio for years — right in the heart of one of the largest Somali communities in the U.S.
Ayanle Siad Barre, 61, was described by an Oxford University researcher as his father's "right-hand man" who allegedly wielded significant power within a regime accused of mass killings, torture and atrocities against the Isaaq clan, according to the New York Post.
Survivors of the Barre regime are now calling on U.S. authorities to investigate what family members knew or did during the dictatorship.
