Hey so if it isnt clear by the decisions that were made about the rate system were presented, rob does not give a single fuck about this game or this community. I have spent years enjoying this game and having fun, wanting to ultimately be a mod, but now that dream will probably no longer be reached. Robtop needs to completely self-reflect on his decisions, and actually work to improve it instead of just gutting people at random. Bro literally pulled a thanos. I dont want to be part of this game or community anymore, its beyond saving. After endless I will be leaving the game permanently. I remember being in call with him excited about the future of gd, but not anymore. All the stuff with Viprin, hinds, pauze, and many others have genuinely sickened me and it only got worst the more time went on. The community will never get what it wants / what it needs as robtop literally is a dictator, and theres nothing we can do. If all the stuff with modchat is true about most of it being secretive, and abusive behind the scenes, I pray for anyone who stays a mod and has to deal with that. No one should have to deal with that, and we all deserve better. I know im not the biggest name, so me saying this probably wont even matter, but im gonna say it anyways. Robtop is killing the game and either knows he is, or doesnt, and idk which is worst. Fix your system, or all the loving community you've mentioned will slowly disappear. I bet you 90% of all the problems we have couldve been solved if you gave 2 other people the ability to rate levels. This game has entirely gotten too big beyond his normal capabilities, and his refusal to acknowledge that is a problem. I bet you he wont ever see this message, but if you do, I want you to know most of the community wants you to HIRE HELP FOR THE GAME. He is gonna have alot of people seeing "rework to mod system" and think its a good thing, but THIS IS THE WORST OUTCOME POSSIBLE. The community needed a rep that was a bridge between robtop and the rest of that, that ISNT ANY CURRENT MOD / VIPRIN OR PAUZE. And most of our needs wouldve been met earlier. He added cbf to the game, BUT IT ISNT EVEN HOW CBF WORKS, IT ONLY ALIGNS TO 480 FPS (thank you diamond for pointing this out to me). Actually disgusting / infuriating to see what happened today, and now they arent even gonna show who becomes a mod anymore, and you cant apply. What backward ass logic is this? Bro said before 2.2 he was gonna be more transparent, but thats fucking gone now. To everyone who was also critically on the game like I am, we need to find other things in life to grind at. Even if its another game, or IRL stuff, hobbies, making a career, etc. We gotta branch outwards, GD isnt the end all be all, it never was, and never will be. And not even going to go into all the shit ive dealt with over the rate system before, as ive already said enough about it, but NO ONE should have to deal with this, and you dont have to. If I ever make levels after endless, I hope it would be at a time that the system is reworked and the majority of the community likes it.
