Dear Hon. MP ,
@mohamedkudu
I would greatly appreciate it if you could summon the Minister of Housing and infrastructure @muththo to Majilis and ask the below question:
Why were garbage chutes not installed in the @Fdc_mv apartments when they were constructed as part of the 4,000 housing units project?
Installing garbage chutes would make waste disposal much easier and more convenient for residents. At present, residents have to carry their household waste downstairs and transport it in the elevator, often alongside other people, which is inconvenient and unhygienic.
@HamdhanShakeel @MickailNaseem @HithadhooNazil @AslamAslamtey @moosahaveeru @MMuizzu @MvSpokesperson @lucasjalyl
A friend told me this place (FAHI DHIRIULHUN FLATS) was designed for a garbage chute, but after the change in government, the new government does not want to install one. Is that true? @HamdhanShakeel Why wouldn’t you install a garbage chute? If a garbage chute were installed, residents wouldn’t have to take their household waste down to the ground floor bin using the lift. It would also reduce lift usage, potentially lowering electricity costs and would be more convenient for tenants. @Fdc_mv @muththo @MMuizzu @AslamAslamtey @hussainfiyaz @moosahaveeru @MrLeevaaan

Renowned Pakistani actress Hajra Yamin recently had the blessed opportunity to perform Umrah and shared a deeply moving and faith-inspiring message on social media that touched the hearts of her followers.
Reflecting on her spiritual journey, she wrote that no one reaches Makkah and Madinah solely through personal effort, wealth, or desire. According to her, the most important requirement for performing Umrah is Allah’s invitation and call. Until Allah grants that invitation, no one can set foot in those sacred lands.
Her heartfelt words and profound reflection resonated with thousands of social media users, earning admiration and appreciation from fans who were inspired by her message of faith, gratitude and reliance upon Allah.

It was a pleasure to meet my good friend @SobeAbdulla , former Mayor of Addu City and a respected leader whose dedication, integrity, and tireless service have earned admiration across Addu City.
We had a productive discussion on the current political situation in the Maldives, the importance of advancing decentralization, and ways to strengthen cooperation and partnerships between our cities.
Sobe’s leadership in Addu City stands as an outstanding example of visionary local governance and unwavering commitment to community development.
I wish him every success in his candidacy for the Hithadhoo North parliamentary seat. I am confident that his experience, capability, and passion for public service will continue to benefit the people of Addu.
