We lose so little grain out the back of our @CLAAS_America combine that the DNR has mandated us to spill 1 pile with the grain cart in every field in an effort to preserve the pheasant population

Harvest relief for America’s farmers.
Today, @POTUS and @SecRollins announced the Harvest Fuel Relief Program — making $8 BILLION available for one-time payments to farmers facing higher costs and market disruptions.
Here’s what that means:
➡️ Payments to help cover a portion of estimated losses for the 2026 crop year.
➡️ Payment amounts based on planted acres, production costs, crop yields, and prices.
➡️ Row crop payment rates announced in November, with details for other eligible commodities to follow.
➡️ Application will be available online using a Login.gov account that is connected to USDA.

The endless labor debate rages on. I agree this is the next domino and it probably further hollows out rural America. At least an immigrant spends $ at the grocery store etc. not a great spot we’re in but it can certainly get more dystopian
