What a flex, bringing together top two billed singers in the country, for a second time in the same album. If this is how you want to spend money for the movie, please do more of it :)
Lovely song!

I've spent the past five-ish months transcribing and dissecting Raja-sir's symphony, and now I have an 84-minute video for you! By far my most ambitious analysis till date and I am very nervous putting it out. Just my small tribute to a masterpiece!!

Belated (as usual😬) review of Vishnu Vijay-Suhail Koya-Vinayak Sasikumar's outstanding work in Bethlehem Kudumba Unit

Been looping #BethlehemKudumbaUnit songs since last week. So, decided to showcase an under-appreciated aspect of composer Vishnu Vijay's songs - his use of children's chorus.

Vishal Chandrashekhar and Sinduri Vishal had big shoes to fill in and they’ve delivered so well. The soundtrack of Jagamae Sangeetham is as rich and diverse as Bandish Bandits (which it seems to be adapted from) by SEL.
Particularly the choice of singers, from Sharreth to an array of young classical singers.

Lovely song, based on Madhava Mamava. GV Prakash adds his touches wonderfully, in the chorus and in the outro.
The other song (that is surprisingly not sung by Saindhavi) Uyire Uyire is also lovely. They released the good ones with the movie!

Song 1 from Jakes Bejoy's #imgame, written by Sharfu and sung by Armaan Malik - Mazhavillaye. Very nice. Love the violin solos from Embar Kannan. Takes my mind back to Neeyum Naanum from Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Solid #malayalam debut for Armaan!

Severely late to this I know, but finally managed to pen my thoughts on the songs of Main Vaapas Aaunga 😬

Anirudh Ravichander / Madhushree evoke the perfect "mother son" emotion in uravu song (JN)
Ani is literally churning out "melodies" and I am loving it, nadaswaram is on fire.
Mixed with another sree ragam mother-son lullaby ( etho varmukilin).

Baby Do Die Do album is lovely. Looks like first proper film soundtrack by Arjun Iyer. Has early Amit Trivedi elements, great mix of songs, and some fresh voices.
Sample this, and the rest of the album!

Arijit sounds so different in 'Leher' (which he seems to be doing every now and then!). What an ace track by Pritam!
Mashooqa is my other pick of the album, with a terrific Raghav Chaitanya on vocals.
Cocktail 2, music-wise, is a pretty good follow-up to Cocktail (2012).

Three songs that are likely to be in my most-looped songs of the year.
1) Another Day in Paradise open.spotify.com/track/6D2Mc… ft in 'Paradise' (great series!), streaming on Hotstar/Hulu.
2) Kya Kamaal Hai - MVA open.spotify.com/track/4bWS3…
3) Dance No More - Harry Styles' latest 'Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.' open.spotify.com/track/0VV0A…

Dheere Dheere is fantastic. Along with Kya Kamaal Hai and Vo Nahin, Dheere Dheere puts “Main Vaapas Aaunga” shoulder to shoulder with Amar Singh Chamkila, arguably the best Hindi album by AR Rahman in the last 4-5 years.

No thoughts, just Diljit being coy, tentative, coarse all the way to belting out Kya Kamaal Hai.

I hold The Legend album high, and perhaps the only light in an otherwise dull phase of Harris Jayaraj for over a decade now.
Kadhal Reset Repeat is showing more promise in what Harris could still do. I like all the songs. Anbe Anbe is full of nostalgia — glad it exists!

Get Shreya Ghoshal on board, lock an easy-to-hum tune, get the titular hook in line — how the consistently brilliant Girrish G lands another lovely track!

The best one of the lot comes in the end — Nindiya Pari. Sounds even better than Zara Zara, and Khatija sounds great in all languages. Her wonderful portions are reminiscent of her own song in PS2, and the lovely Sonnalum Ketpathillai. Glad Abhay Jodhpurkar is back in the ARR camp, handling both the melodies in Marathi so well.
