I was thinking about this last night. Q: Why were the influencers fighting 110 so hard if they knew it would fail anyway? A: Because without the public fight, the fact that the outcome was wholly decided by the miners would have been obvious to even the most retard among us.
^ btw this confession from Jonathan Bier confirms that 100% of the hashrate knew about the BIP-110 proposal. A common psyop deployed during the last months by him and other bad actors was that miners weren't even aware of it, and described it as just "twitter drama".

What’s most heartbreaking is that the plebs who recognized Bitcoin earliest almost all sold the rest of us out.

Current perspective - They tried to crudely wrestle control of Bitcoin away from the sovereigns with the "hard forks" in 2017. They realized that it just doesn't work. So instead this time around there's a Fabian style infestation of the space and it has become captured rather than overtly conquered. It's very hard to defend against this because the attacks are all small enough to make any concrete pushback appear to be an overreaction. Anyone who can extrapolate forward can see that anything that undermines Bitcoin's identity as a monetary protocol, if not rejected decisively, results in eventual death. It's not here to compliment the dollar, it's here to replace and destroy it. Cope to the tune of "trojan horses" is now and always was self deception. Protocol capture is real and the norm for freedom tech that reaches levels Bitcoin has. People continue to underestimate the threat Bitcoin poses to the system and refuse to understand the lengths to which that system will go in neutering it. I'll have more to say over the coming days as we establish whether the industry still respects the decentralization necessary to maintain our disruptive potential or if it chooses to close ranks and become a servant of the fiat apparatus currently coopting the network.

ADVISORY: nodes enforcing BIP-110 begin rejecting non-signaling blocks in ~3 days. A chain split is possible, which carries real risks for all sides. For Lightning operators, certain protections exist only before a split. We recommend acting now. start9.com/bip110

Bitcoin Core is bleeding node share like crazy.. Knots: 25.7% of all nodes Knots v29.3: 21.1% - now the most run Bitcoin client version 19.5% of those Knots nodes signal RDTS which activates in ~550 blocks or 4 days, likely Saturday. Picture Microsoft holding OS dominance for 20 years, then watching a quarter of it walk out the door in a year. There'd be emergency meetings, figuring out what they did wrong and how to win users back. Here? Crickets..

With just 506 blocks (~3 days) to go until mandatory signaling begins, the BIP-110 movement has never been stronger! Our metrics continue to hit new highs every day. Hold the line - activation is near! Bitcoin is money!

BIP110 has not been delayed and literally CANNOT be delayed. My node doesn't listen to Udi, or Dathon, or anyone else. It enforces BIP110 as planned, and that's all there is to it. @YahooFinance, @tradingview and @grok are presenting outright falsehoods (initially fabricated by @udiWertheimer) as unhedged facts, affecting a market with trillions of dollars of capital at stake, potentially causing disastrous financial impact to tens of thousands of individuals and the broader industry. This is a poison-the-well information attack of a broad social layer and cannot go unpunished

@LukeDashjr @BTC_for_Freedom @hodlonaut @DrJackKruse it would be wonderful if some large X accounts could help spread the word. Unfortunately my following is apparently too small to be picked up by the LLMs.

With just over 1,000 blocks (~7 days) to go until mandatory signaling, the FUD attacks continue! Just so that there is absolutely no doubt: _nothing_ can stop BIP-110 now, _not even me_. We are tied to the mast, with no way to stop or even slow down. BIP-110 is activating!

They slept their way into Core They removed spam filters They deleted node-wallets on upgrade They censored your comments on forums They said you don't matter They went to Epstein island They have accused you of pleb-slop They called you a knotzi They DDOS'd your Knots Node IBD They promoted treasury companies They promoted their mining ponzi's They promoted scams and spams They told you to fork off They sold you a product that exposed your life savings ...and the story isn't over... THEY HAVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY WRONG. If you are still supporting them, you are part of the problem. Stop fighting plebs. Join the plebs, against the scammers, spammers and suits. Plebs are Bitcoin. Get your Bitcoin off coldcard-generated wallets. Run BIP-110.

An acquaintance of mine intentionally left a small amount of bitcoin in a ColdCard MK4 RNG created seed phrase (that was originally a "duress" wallet) to see when it might get swept. Last night it got swept to bc1qzm5pauxyv7t7vqstzpumqcn066wfjsmev34mf3. So at this point any RNG generated seedphrase on any ColdCard product is under active attack. Move quickly if you're exposed.

Who benefits from the Coldcard hack? The Financial Industrial Complex does. We took a hit. We mourn the loss of those affected. We come back stronger. If we don’t self-custody and run nodes, we end up with BlackRockCoin in a Coinbase collateralised debt obligation.
