SIX DEGREES OF VERI: AUTOMATED VEHICLE DIRECTION Think six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but for patents. I explore the connections to Veritaseum's foundational '566 patent family that can transfer any value without middlemen. Loans without Banks Trades without Exchanges Contracts without Lawyers Now, let's examine these Tesla patents. It gets more interesting when you put it in reverse. Not the car. The citation trail. Picture a car parked nose-in, with an obstacle ahead. Its system reads the surroundings and selects reverse instead of forward. That is the kind of situation described in Tesla’s US12534092B2 - “Automated adjustment of vehicle direction based on environment analysis.” A practical problem: which way should the vehicle move? Now follow the references backward. First, we reach Tesla’s AI-vision patent family, technology for determining what occupies the space around a vehicle. Its citation record points to Dell’s AI-powered capacity management. We are still looking at systems that interpret physical space. Then the trail takes an unexpected turn. Dell cites a Strong Force application about automated negotiation. Not steering. Not parking. Software undertaking activities such as negotiating loan refinancing. That application became US11715164B2. One step further back takes us to nChain’s blockchain-access record. Another reaches Civic’s digital-identity verification application. Those connections appear in the citation records, not just in a comparison of similar-sounding ideas. And there, in Civic’s references, is: WO2015171580A1. The international publication tied to @ReggieMiddleton's Veritaseum US11196566B2 family: "devices, systems and methods for facilitating low-trust and zero-trust value transfers." We started with a vehicle choosing which way to move. Six citation links later, we reached a patent family about transferring value. The surprise is not that these patents all do the same thing. They address different problems. It is that the reference trail crosses those boundaries, from value transfers through identity, blockchain access, automated negotiation and computer vision, to vehicle direction. That is why I’m building SIX DEGREES OF VERI. Not to replace one oversimplified technology story with another. To give us something better than an opinion to argue over: a trail we can inspect. There is an important boundary here. This does not establish that Tesla uses Middleton’s technology, or that Tesla’s engineers personally acknowledged his work. The trail groups corresponding application and grant publications, and some references are examiner citations. But we do not need to exaggerate the connection to make it worth exploring. Start with the first link: open Civic’s US10666434B2 record and search for WO2015171580A1. Check it for yourself. A citation trail is not proof of infringement. Look past the logo. Follow the patent trail. This is what a foundational patent looks like. The element of truth, verified.
SIX DEGREES OF VERI: RWA TOKENIZATION Tokenizing what you own is one thing. Giving you more control over it is another. Before we celebrate a tokenized future, let’s follow the patent trail, not just the headlines. STARTING POINT: VERITASEUM’S ’566 PATENT FAMILY The patent lists Reggie Middleton and Matthew Bogosian as inventors and claims priority to May 9, 2014. It describes methods for parties with little or no trust in one another to enter into and enforce conditional value transfer agreements, with reduced reliance on traditional intermediaries. The application publication US20170187535A1 became US11196566B2. Now follow the references. 1ST DEGREE - nChain US11373152B2 Universal tokenization system for blockchain-based cryptocurrencies. This patent’s references include US20170187535A1, the ’566 application publication. nChain’s own application publication is US20190303887A1. 2ND DEGREE - POLYMATH US11361289B1 Distributed cryptographic tokens with downstream administrative control. Its references include nChain’s US20190303887A1. The patent describes administrative control over customized tokens operating on a distributed cryptocurrency network. 3RD DEGREE - DTCC DIGITAL US12361488B2 Method, apparatus, and computer readable medium for compliance aware tokenization and control of asset value. Its references include Polymath’s US11361289B1. Veritaseum -> nChain -> Polymath -> DTCC. Three citation links. The application publication and corresponding granted patent count as one node, not an extra degree. Here’s why this matters beyond patent numbers. DTCC’s tokenization service describes potential benefits such as greater asset mobility and interoperability. It also explicitly includes pause and clawback controls, which DTCC identifies as supporting compliance and operational oversight. That distinction deserves our attention. Moving an asset onto a blockchain does not, by itself, tell us who holds the power. The ability to trade more efficiently and the ability to transact more independently are different goals. My takeaway: we should judge tokenization by the rights and practical control it gives the holder, not simply by the technology underneath it. Who can authorize a transfer? Who can stop one? Who can change the rules? And as we examine that future, earlier inventors and their documented work deserve a place in the conversation. This trail does not establish that these companies copied or implemented Veritaseum’s patented claims, or that royalties are owed. It establishes a specific, inspectable chain of patent references. Don’t just ask who is tokenizing the world. Ask who will control it, and follow the receipts. A citation trail is not proof of infringement. The element of truth, verified.

“$ QUADRILLIONS!” Early 2013: Veritaseum was created. Jan 2014: Peer to Peer Capital Markets was introduced to the world. 9 Global Patents: US, JP & EP Priority Date of May 9, 2014 “The Unbreakable Promise” #VERI
INFLUENCER BREAKS WIND: Stolen technology from 2014, now being re-introduced as new tech. Fact Check It! 9 Patents in US, Japan and Europe (US11196566 + IPR2023-00751) Coinbase and Circle USDC were sued $350 Million each for IP infringement. Coinbase/Perkins Coie LOST their IPR challenge in a failed attempt to invalidate these patents. Only 20% of patents survive an IPR challenge with all claims intact.

The SEC targeted this man because he invented the foundation of the technologies all these companies below are using. 8 Patents in US, JP and 9th recently granted in EP on Dec 24, 2025. (US11196566 patent family with a Priority Date of May 9, 2014) July 2014: He proved his concept of tokenization using his patented trustless value transfer, over a year before ETH launched. - YouTube "Simple Apple Trade using a Pure Bitcoin Wallet" Sued Coinbase and Circle USDC for $350 million each over IP Infringement. Coinbase/Perkins Coie was denied their IPR Challenge in the PTAB of the USPTO, in their failed attempt to invalidate his patents. (IPR2023-00751) Ripple - Cites his patents at least 6 times as prior art Paxos released their tokenized gold in Sept 2019 a year and a half after he did in July 2018 with "VeGLD" and "VeSLV" 2018: He introduced the "World's First Peer to Peer Gold Denominated Blockchain Mortgage" Dec 2018 on YouTube. Hey @elonmusk, love to strike up a conversation with you. We can use @twitter to power a bidding network to allow @Tesla cars to trade "get ahead" access in traffic, trade software upgrades, electric power, etc. via Twitter as the new web5 P2P value infrastructure. DM me, here.

This may be my favorite @themarketsniper clip. Legendary!
Okay so you are going to see ever more of this kind of announcement as the debt/fiat collapse escalates. If you think the existing banking cartel getting into custody holding your digital magic internet money is a win, you are a 'pump my bags' moron. You will get neither freedom nor your bags pumped, EXPECT regular CGT deductions from your wallet to your government if you do.
