Ten years ago, Space for Humanity asked a bold question: Who gets to go to space?
On October 23, in less than one week, we’re asking a much bigger question.
Stay tuned...
Science is bold. Science is loud. Science is creative. Science is feminine.
Science is what you learn, what you make, and what you create. And there is no single right way to do it. There is absolutely room in the scientific community for Fiorella, because it is often the people who think differently, who challenge convention, and who see the world from a new perspective who create the breakthroughs that change it.
We are so proud to help Fiorella see that her dreams are possible and that they are still worth fighting for. We cannot wait to see how she changes the world here on Earth, and where her reignited passion takes her next — to the stars and beyond.
The Bordeaux flight crew made floating in zero gravity look almost effortless (mostly 😉).
How do you think YOU would do without gravity? Would you be swimming through the air like a fish in water, or spinning around trying to find your bearings?
We’re so proud to give people like Angela the opportunity to experience zero gravity.
Originally from North Macedonia, Angela has challenged gender norms and expectations by fearlessly pursuing her passion for science. We may have helped get Angela into the sky, but she took off all on her own long before we were ever in the picture.
We can’t wait to see how Angela uses her new perspective to help change the world—and how she’ll inspire the next generation of women to pursue what they love and reach even higher.
We’re so proud to be helping make dreams come true, and the truth is, you’re never too old to chase them.
Torrean, a father of three from Roseville, California, found his love for space from "Star Trek" as have so many others. Torrean believes (as do we!) that space needs to be accessible to everybody. Through this experience, you realize how deeply interconnected we all are.
As we reach for the stars, we find our own humanity along the way.
Real-world impact, real universe impact.
What we do here on Earth doesn’t just shape our lives and our futures – it can shape what’s possible beyond our planet, too.
Dr. Aidyl Gonzalez, a molecular geneticist and developmental biologist, is constantly looking for new ways to connect with different generations – to both share her knowledge and learn from others.
We have a feeling Dr. Gonzalez is going to inspire a whole new generation of scientists, explorers, and astronauts. 🚀
Did you see Saturn in the night sky?
On Sunday, October 4th, Saturn was in opposition, making its closest approach to Earth this year. The Gas Giant was visible to the naked eye, though you would need a telescope to see her in all her glory.
But the Hubble Telescope has you covered with this stunning shot of Saturn, her many rings, and an active aurora.

Meet Sydney!
Sydney is a Mars geochemist and geoscientist. She's also one of seven incredible mentees who joined us for a parabolic flight in France last month. Sydney has spent her career studying Mars and the possibility of life beyond Earth, but she’s also carried a dream since childhood: becoming an astronaut. Experiencing weightlessness made that dream suddenly feel a little bit closer.
As a new era of space exploration takes shape, scientists like Sydney are helping us answer some of humanity’s biggest questions: Could life exist beyond Earth? What can other worlds teach us about our own? And where might our curiosity take us next?
We’re proud to support people like Sydney, not only as they pursue those questions, but as they share their passion and inspire others to imagine themselves as part of humanity’s future in space.

The joy and excitement we see people experience through our Take Off in Zero-G program can be life-changing.
There’s more than one way to experience what going to space feels like. That’s why we bring people together for parabolic flights that give them the chance to experience weightlessness for themselves.
Last month in France, we brought seven incredible mentees from around the world aboard an Air Zero-G flight, where they experienced weightlessness, and a whole new way of seeing themselves and the world around them.
Because for us, space has always been about more than the experience itself. It’s about gaining a deeper appreciation for humanity, for one another, and for the planet we all call home.
And we want you to have that opportunity, too. Head to our website to discover how you can be part of what comes next: spaceforhumanity.org/
Join us at the iconic TWA Hotel on Oct 23 for Space for Humanity’s Celestial Soirée: meet astronauts, celebrate space, and hear a top‑secret announcement. There aren't many tickets left, so get yours before liftoff!

Zero‑G day!
We flew. We floated. We screamed. We laughed. We took off.
Our Future Voices of Space mentees just experienced real weightlessness aboard Space for Humanity’s Air Zero G flight in Bordeaux, and the joy on their faces says everything.
This is the moment their stories begin.
The moment they’ll share with audiences across the Middle East and Africa as they build the next wave of space communication.
Today, they didn’t just defy gravity.
They stepped into their future.

🚀✨ 4 YEARS AGO TODAY ✨🚀 On August 4, 2022, Space for Humanity’s second Citizen Astronaut, Sara Sabry, made history aboard Blue Origin’s NS-22. She became the first Egyptian, the first Arab woman, and the first African woman to fly to space. From a mechanical & biomedical engineer and founder of Deep Space Initiative to a global voice for inclusion, innovation, and the Overview Effect, Sara continues to prove that space belongs to all of us. She looked down at our fragile, borderless Earth and came back determined to expand access, inspire the next generation, and turn awe into action. Happy launch anniversary, Sara. Your journey lights the way for so many.
We’re just getting started. To Space, For Earth.

A trailblazer has flown beyond our skies.
Wally Funk, one of the Mercury 13 women who pushed boundaries in the 1960s, the first female FAA inspector, and the oldest woman to reach space at 82 aboard Blue Origin, passed away on July 8 at 87.
Her story reminds us that determination turns dreams into reality, no matter how long the wait. From breaking aviation records to inspiring generations, Wally showed what it means to keep reaching for the stars.
At Space for Humanity, we honor her legacy by advancing accessible spaceflight that benefits all of Earth. Her spirit lives on in every step we take toward a multiplanetary future.
Fly high, Wally.
