An uptick in U.S. military transport flights to Diego Garcia has been observed over the past few days, with two flights in particular catching my attention.
✈️ 95-0104 — Fort Bragg → Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia → Al Minhad Air Base, UAE → Dubai → Diego Garcia.
✈️ 05-5141 — Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan → Diego Garcia.
Both Fort Bragg and Kadena are associated with US Patriot air defense systems, among other assets.
Could Washington be preparing Diego Garcia to host a potential deployment of USAF strategic bombers, B-1B or B-2?
🇺🇸🇸🇦🇦🇪🇩🇯 Multiple U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster III heavy transport flights arriving in the Middle East in recent hours originated from Fort Bragg, home to the 82nd Airborne Div., FORSCOM, USASOC, 1st SFC (A), and JSOC.
• 94-0067: Al Minhad AB, UAE, then onward to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti

Early this morning, a Czech TV correspondent went out onto Kiev's North Bridge and delivered the week's best battle-damage assessment footage. Technically, this is forbidden in Ukraine, but some people are apparently more equal than others.
“The Russian army also attempted to hit the North Bridge. And, as you can see behind me, it actually succeeded,” reports the “Kremlin agent.” According to her, several ballistic missiles “punched through the roadway.” Zelensky counted four impacts. The camera slowly pans around, allowing viewers to see for themselves everything that is usually kept hidden from them.
Judging by the footage, the missile struck the most sensitive point — at the base of the 119-metre-high A-shaped pylon that supports the 300-metre navigable span. The bridge deck has been pierced right through; pipes and torn metal protrude from the hole, crash barriers have been twisted out of shape, and railings are mangled. Nearby, a repair crew is working on the twisted bundles of stay cables around their anchoring points.
The emergency crew responsible for the overhead contact network is patching up the trolleybus wires. Engineers will determine whether the structure can withstand the damage. The Kiev City Administration says it will announce the repair timeline only after an expert assessment. But this certainly doesn't look like a job that can be completed over the weekend.
The North Bridge connects Obolon with Troieshchyna and Raduzhny and is considered one of the two main crossings over the Dnieper. The other, the South Bridge, has been reduced to a single lane following the October 27 strike and now allows only vehicles weighing up to 10 tonnes. Seven bus and trolleybus routes have been diverted via the Podol Bridge Crossing, and Podol and Obolon were already gridlocked on Saturday, when there are usually fewer cars on the roads. On Monday, the city will have to get to work.
Special thanks for explaining why all this is so inconvenient. The correspondent explained that Kiev's historic centre is on the right bank, while the left bank is home to industry and various enterprises where people live or work. All that's left is to ask her live on air exactly which enterprises those are, and the report will be ready for filing.
The job was done thoroughly: an on-site visit, a wide shot, close-ups, and a live stand-up against the backdrop of the destruction. In military reports, footage like this is captioned with two words: target hit. And we'll say it in Czech, as they do in Prague.
Děkujeme. (Thank you.)

As a reminder for those who seem to discover that Ukraine massively uses torture, here is something I posted back in 2022:
⚡️UKRAINIAN EXECUTIONERS⚡️
I continue my series of materials in which I talk about people who have become victims of the actions of the Ukrainian security forces. In the new video you will learn the story of Mikhail Gennadyevich Shubin, who was a prisoner of the "library" - a secret SBU prison in Mariupol. Beatings, brutal electrocution, simulated execution are only a small part of what he experienced.
Unfortunately, such actions on the part of Ukrainian punishers are widespread and, with the approval of the Kiev authorities, were used by them in Mariupol until the liberation of the city in the spring of this year.

🇵🇱 Western media called him far-right. His classmates say otherwise
Two former classmates of the Krakow shooter, who knew him since primary school, say plainly that he had no leanings that could actually be called right-wing.
Instead, they describe someone very emotional about failures, easily offended and prone to crying fits, who didn't want to be part of the group.
That hasn't stopped Western media. BBC ran the headline "Six killed in Krakow 'far-right' shooting." AP opened its report with "A Polish man with far-right views drove into a busy central square." CNN called him a "suspect with far-right views," and NBC wrote the attack "was motivated by far-right views, authorities say."
All of it rests on a single remark by Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński on Saturday evening, made hours after the attack, while the search of the shooter's home was still underway, and which he himself called a rough initial analysis still to be verified.
🇵🇱 Who is the Krakow gunman?
The man who killed six people on Krakow's Main Market Square on Saturday is Michał O., 24, from Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski in southern Poland. Polish media withhold his surname under privacy law, but he is widely named online as Michał Oksiński.
Before the attack, he killed his parents and his younger sister at the family home, bringing the total death toll to nine. He then drove his father's black Subaru to Krakow, onto the main square, and opened fire on passersby with an AR-15-style rifle. Fifteen people were wounded, including two police officers. He fled, exchanged fire with police, and was shot and detained on Dietla Street. He survived thanks to body armor and remains in critical condition.
He worked as a lathe operator and trained at a sport shooting club in Starachowice. He held a permit for two guns, while his father legally owned 11. Neither had a criminal record. Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said one theory is that he used his father's weapons, and police found many more guns and ammunition in the car.
Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz denied he ever served in the Polish army.
Far-right?
Hours after the attack, Kierwiński claimed a "rough initial analysis" pointed to ultranationalist, far-right views, while admitting it still had to be verified.
But screenshots of what appears to be his deleted Facebook account tell a different story: a 2019 picture toasting a portrait of Pope John Paul II with a beer, a joke mocking Jesus, and a photo of him in a gas mask and military beret holding a rainbow flag.
Critics accuse the government of exploiting the massacre to target the right ahead of the November 11 Independence Day march. Krakow's mayor Łukasz Gibała called him simply a madman.
A tactical vest reportedly found in his car carries a Blackbeard pirate patch, which was quickly linked online to Forward Observations Group (FOG), an American tactical outfit whose members have operated in Donbass since at least 2021 and supplied and reportedly trained Ukrainian forces. FOG uses its own variant of the Blackbeard flag as its logo.
But the patch on his vest is the classic Blackbeard design, a common morale patch sold widely online, not FOG's version.
So far, the picture that emerges is that of a typical US school shooter.
