I think that it would be a great opportunity to show appreciation for the women in our field as well as to, amongst the women theirselves, discuss their experience of being the minority and how to navigate in that space.

Shoot, even a discussion on women's health and interventions for our women population would have been a great topic. GEST definitely dropped the ball on that one but this is just my personal opinion/suggestion, not a knock on the conference itself, or the organizers

So far my first day of orientation being a TY (transitional year) resident consists of explaining to all the IM and Surgery interns what a TY is 😬
