To prepare a #3D model for online viewing, we create a lighter file by retopologising the original model. We then project the normals into the new #3Dmodel to keep the level of detail the original mesh had. #photogrammetry #VirginiaWoolf

Raw—unedited—#3D models are essential for archiving, while creating an optimised version of a #3Dmodel is important for its visualisation. The optimisation process can include gap filling, noise removal, and mesh sculpting. #photogrammetry #VirginiaWoolf
