Rollback netcode is one of the biggest differences between SpeedRunners 2 and the original game. This addition helps keep sh*t consistent for all runners, including players with a *meh* Internet connection or ping spikes. Main goal = prevent desyncs in crossplay matches.
Patch 1.6 is live on PC, PS, & Xbox.
It brings balancing changes, faster Ranked lobby countdowns, smoother menu transitions, and fixes across gameplay, progression, achievements, and UI.

ICYM, we've added more options to improve the game's readability. They include the setting to remove other players' trails and customize character outlines.
Patch 1.5 is on its way and is planned to go live next week. Here are the main changes to be included:
- A setting to turn off other players' trails will be added.
- The timer from custom lobbies will be removed.
- The Slope Surf exploit involving Taunts will be fixed.
- The issue where the Opponent Outlines setting can be disabled unintentionally will be fixed.

We have no choice but to delay the release of Patch 1.4 on Nintendo Switch.
