no proven link between the two but curious coincidence…
today, i won't use any site or app that hasn't confirmed everything is fine on their side.

Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches.
Two vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) reported for PHP, the web programming language, affecting servers running popular apps like WordPress and Magento, with patches released October 21, 2026 after details leaked early.
Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits.

but it's important trying to see things as they really are, not as we want to see them.
$BTC is at $81,000.
$BNB is at $720.
four years ago, Bitcoin was at ~$19,000, #BNB at ~$273.
if someone had told us this is what a boring market looks like, we would have probably laughed.
i just see progress.
BNB Chain is getting cheaper as it gets busier.
for some context, daily network fees peaked at around 16000 #BNB in 2021, when blocks were close to full.
today they sit well below 2000 #BNB, even though the chain now processes far more transactions.
4.24B txs so far in 2026, already above all of 2025.
faster blocks, more capacity, lower gas prices.
more activity: lower costs at the same time.
that’s progress we can all measure.
