Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize.
The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets.
While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks.
Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

In my opinion, I’m sure nothing can happen this season, but Pete Golding should get him on the phone asap

Tony Dungy says that he's pretty sure that NBC fired him because he's pro life.
Tony and his wife, both devout Christians who have 11 children, says that NBC knew who he was when they hired him.
He was a speaker at the March for Life in 2023 which NBC was unhappy about.
He and his wife run the Dungy Family Foundation which has worked with pregnancy centers.
Honorable man.

Arch unraveled again in the second half, blew the 24-3 first-half lead, but Sark won it by calling only runs at 24-24 and suddenly can't-run Texas became a steamroller. Crazy. Texas won bc Sark wouldn't let Arch throw it!

This is really well done by @jasonwhitlock and he’s absolutely accurate about the History and how @PTI stood the test of time! Lemme add many of these writers don’t share my political views, but sports journalists particularly from that era (yeah even in 2001)covered sports the way it was supposed to be covered then, and imo should be now. Happy 25th Anniversary OFIn🎂🥂@ThisShowStinks has always been a great listen for me, and @RealMikeWilbon always been the perfect teammate for Kornheiser who along with @CharlesPPierce might be my favorite sports columnists who’s politics are polar opposite of mine. Since The Sports Reporters was mentioned, I’ll add I once Guest Hosted for Schaap in 1990 while he was on a Book Tour, but it was The late great John Saunders got Schaap’s role as Host after he passed away. The Late Joe Valerio produced one helluva show. I miss watching or DVR’ing it. Congratulations to Tony & Michael and you too @jasonwhitlock for your brutal honesty! 🎙️📺

Everybody remembers Deion Sanders as “Prime Time.”
But Max Howell remembers the young man behind the swagger.
Howell coached Deion at Florida State under Bobby Bowden, and what he witnessed wasn't just extraordinary talent. It was an incredible work ethic—and a promise Deion made to his mother when he was only 10 years old.
In this week's "Inside the Interview with Jason Scarborough," Howell shares unforgettable stories about coaching Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith, working alongside Bobby Bowden, and his remarkable years in SEC sports radio.
Some of the best football stories aren't about what happened on the field.
