Retweeting this sad news from my other account. Please take a moment to read and donate if you can. Such a terrible loss. Rest in peace, Mela. 💔
This news hits close to home and is absolutely shocking. I worked with Mela Hudson intimately on a short film which was a joyful, creative and emotional experience. I lost a friend and we lost a generous talent who was willing to bear her soul for art. 💔 gofundme.com/in-loving-memor…

You’re a fantastic actor, Mr. Neill. 👏🏼 Always nice to see you hamming it up. This new role is quite a stretch! And for your next act— growing wings and taking flight?🐷😁@TwoPaddocks @SAGawards #ActorsLife

What I love about teaching filmmaking has little to do with film itself. It’s secretly a platform to urge students to be more confident, creative, collaborative, expressive, engaged, open-minded, self-aware, mindful, inspired, nonjudgemental, resourceful, honest and curious.🎬❤️

Thank you Mo. She was a veritable spitfire!🔥 We’re going to do our best to see that her projects like @Eight_Film & @TomboyFilm are completed and become available for people to watch in some fashion.

We said our goodbyes to Mela Hudson this weekend, remembering what an amazing life she lived in such a short time. I was honored to meet her family and close friends. I wanted to share Mela's note that she posted after making it to California. #GoneTooSoon @ItsMelaHudson 🙏🏽
