He’s not wrong. And then it comes down to the fundamental question for parents: “Would I want this individual to develop my young adult son?” For me, it’s without hesitation, yes. I’d say the exact same thing about Dan Jackson. I know many will disagree with me and that’s fine. I get it and understand the point of divergence. Just not on the fundamental question.

"The people creating rules all the time don't always think about the change it's going to create that creates another issue" Iowa State's Jimmy Rogers was open last week about the current challenges in recruiting. I asked him today about coaches being able to change jobs:

TE/FB Andrew Gustad is one of my favorites in all of College Football. Old school, no nonsense type of player. The Goose is loose!!!

This is absurd! Skattebo shows textbook pad level and running through contact—in the hole for goodness sake! Make football, football again.

I like Holst’s running ability. Nice added element to keep the D honest. He’s decisive with it too.

Seven penalties for 80 yards is crazy work against Murray St.

Smith with another…drop. Great athlete. He’s gonna do a lot more for the Jacks. No shame in getting other guys some run.

UND knots it at 20 with under a minute to go. Love it hope it goes to quadruple overtime and Yotes win so Jacks can still control their destiny.

If I’m OG, in a couple years, I hit the weights seriously hard in the offseason, add 10-15 lbs and enjoy a solid professional career as an H Back.

Glad we decided to run that with two timeouts on 2nd goal to go.

Fifty percent on third down conversions 🤮 That’s far better than the 36.26% on the year but anything under 60% against Murray is subpar.

Good call. Brutal, game-impacting penalties by LB leaders in back to back weeks.
