I still think it's funny that JB gets mad when people say they think he is messing with them, Like come on the first "ending" of order of the sinking stars literally exits your game, and people think the game crashes lmao.

Like yes, something can be if you think about it be very clever, but in the moment, it will feel like the dev is messing with you. Like come on, the game is basically a warehouse of puzzles, like on a meta gameplay level and literally in world explanation lmao

While I prefer Godot, GameMaker is MUCH easier to learn as a complete novice in programming than Godot. And honestly, if you just want to make 2D games, have never programmed in your life, and/or you find Godot's node system confusing, GameMaker may be for you.

Found a weird bug in Order of the Sinking Stars, it also causes the game to lag, but restarting fixes it, weird.

I have no idea wtf the lore is about, First, they talk about some Wunderwaffen war and having to relocate to pocket dimensions that are built from parts of other dimensions. Now they are talking about the dao and questioning if there is a before the bigbang.

Kenneth blocked me a while back for speaking the truth. The 3D game dev community are allergic to change and progress. the art they make can continue with some LoRAs etc. but at an insane rate now. You could produce an entire Kenneth style universe with AI, but mentally the old barriers of “must move vert by hand” is hard stuck people replaced vision and ambition with Blender shortcut keys and CAD modeling techniques from the 80s
