Employer: we're having a meeting about the IRA plan.
My cool coworker and me sitting quietly in the back, having completely misunderstood what they meant:
I'm not sure I've seen anyone else do more to devalue the prestige of the accomplishment that is having earned a Juris Doctor more than Kostas does on this app every single day, and that bar was already a discouragingly low one.
Hot take: I kinda feel like a lot of the datacenter opposition is Chinese astroturf too. To be sure, there are some legitimate concerns, I don't deny that. But the frenzy against it feels kind of artificial.
China desperately wants us to lose on AI, and a lot of people are being useful idiots for them on that front.
AI is happening whether we like it or not. The question is whether we lead on it, or China does.
Beat @berg_update by four places at the last match of the season on Sunday, so I'll get to ride that high all the way until he inevitably sweeps the leg on me next spring.

This genuinely might be the craziest tweet of all time I don't even have a bit this is wild
I've been coming to the gym for a lot of years, and I've seen a lot of people do a LOT of weird stuff here, but using straps on a bench press is actually a new one.
The same is true for lifting heavy weight by the way. Peptides won't get you a three plate bench just like a $6000 2011 won't get you a GM classification.

When you're first starting you can quickly make huge gains. As you get better those gains lessen and take longer until it gets to the point where miniscule improvements require astronomical amounts of work. It's 'relatively easy' to get to 85-90% of elite shooters, but getting that last 10-15% requires 10x as much work as the first 85-90%. When I say 'relatively easy' that means almost anyone who really wants it can get there, not that it will be painless or without effort. Closing out huge matches is another beast entirely, and there are very few people in any given year with a realistic shot of doing it.
There's no universe where Ed Roth would have approved of you or anyone else using AI to generate an image of Ratfink as a tribute to him. It's insane you would expect anyone to believe that. It's loser ass hack bullshit and you know it. Otherwise you wouldn't have blocked me.

Oh no they weren’t fucking with my AI generated art ass shirt now I can’t complete my planet fitness baby arms workout ahhh
American is at Planet Fitness in Wisconsin wearing a jacket in support of ICE
🚨 The Planet Fitness makes him REMOVE the jacket because they say defending your country is “sensitive” (They actually say this on camera)
“Supporting ICE — protecting your country is sensitive?”
“Yes”
“I was wearing an ICE jacket inside of Planet Fitness, and he's telling me I can't do that.”
America has completely lost the plot. So every other country on earth is allowed to have immigration enforcement but America…
Remember Planet Fitness also defends trans men in women’s restrooms

It's literally not that deep at all. Game and movie studios are businesses that exist to make money, so 10/10 times, they're gonna make stuff the majority of people will pay for rather than cater to a small contingent of Twitter chuds who wish Master Chief would say more slurs.
The reason why the media (movies, videogames, etc) are extremely left wing is because if you make a game, and one of your employees is ofended by anything in the game, they can sue you for discrimination.
Companies are held hostage by employees, not investors or "the modern audience".
The laws in place that make it illegal to not have freedom of association are now forcing our entire culture to shift into a disgusting mess of leftism.
$25 for a Comeback Kid show on a Friday night supported by some dope locals? Don't mind if I diddly fuckin' do.
