I’ve just spent 2 hours trying to get tree algae off the roof of my son’s car ‘cos it’s annoying me (he’s out). Yes I could leave it now, but I will not be beaten by anything, ever. It’s between me & the car now and I WILL win if it kills me*

For 34 years this has been my local patch, walked it most days. The lady in the house is 89 and plies passing dogs with endless biscuits as she tells owners about local memories. She’s deaf so can’t hear a word we say in response, but keeps me & dog happy. I’ll miss it #Yorkshire

I forgot to show you the amazing beetle on my garden chair last week. Apparently a non native invader (Rosemary beetle) that came in on imported herbs, but blimey it’s a stunner!
