We are just souls traveling through this world, at this time, and a body is just a vessel, a vehicle for us to develop, to live, to learn, to love, so respect everything in this lifetime, grow gardens, grow relationships, be nice, be kind, treat others as yourself, experience as much as you can until we die.
Then the next journey,,,
“This is the way the drug war starts to end, not with a bang or a whimper, but with an executive order signed by a president who must surely be the least-psychedelic occupant ever of the Oval Office.” Nick Gillespie
Trump called for Drug legalization decades before running for office and has maintained the more traditional “Prohibitionary” stance that all politicians who inherit the century long Drugwar tend to follow. But he’s starting to make waves with executive orders about rescheduling Cannabis and now greenlighting the process to enable psychedelics be used for mental illnesses etc. Hopefully he continues to do more of the same things with the rest of the Drugwar.

The Prohibition of Drugs has done more harm than the drugs ever could have done on their own.

FDR was basically moving us towards a democratic socialist system if you look at his “second or economic bill of rights”.
It only makes sense especially in this day and age of this country with the obscene amount of wealth that the billionaire “Epstein class” and especially the power that the elites wield. The founding fathers provided a mechanism for updating the constitution and a new economic bill of rights makes sense. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second…
We seem to have more & more of these incompetent activities that can initially be ascribed to ineptitude. When it becomes several different actions, unskilled and incapable is the comments used most. open.substack.com/pub/thebul…
But when it’s a continuous series of events that not only set up the country for additional costs and challenges it becomes more obvious it’s potentially a serious orchestration to destroy the government and bankrupt the country from within. He denounces alliances, attacks allies and never says or does anything against our historical enemies. At some point it becomes obvious

Looking at everything going on with Iran right now it also just came to light a few years ago how close we were to having a secular democracy in Iran in 1979. If you read “Den of Spies” we had a chance for an end to the hostage crisis in 1979 but the dirty tricksters were at it again and had the hostages held so Carter wouldn’t get reelected and Reagan got elected. Basically against the Logan act and very arguable as treason. They also lined up the radical Muslim Ayatollah group instead of a secular government. What a different world it would be. theguardian.com/books/2024/o…

The future,
one with plutocratic oligarchy, these parasites upon the body politic, pose the gravest peril to world peace and the very future of mankind. They foment cultural strife, we must expect ‘hardship’ is merely smokescreen to conceal their insatiable greed, & lust for power & control. We must, with firm resolve, dismantle their stranglehold. Somewhere, Dick & Tolkien, Huxley & Orwell, recognize this & cheer on in silent support of the moments that lie ahead.

President Trump knew the right answer before he got political. So did Elon Musk, before he got political. It’s the prohibition of drugs that creates the most problems. From Nixon to Trump, the 'War on Drugs' Has Been a Disaster for Americans' Freedom reason.com/2025/12/26/from-n… via @reason

Crime, overdose, stigma, gangs, cartels and violence are symptoms of prohibition - not drugs.
Unless we call it out and address the real problem (prohibition), we are fooling ourselves, prolonging harm, damaging lives and putting people at risk.
Let's stop pretending we are tackling the issue when all we are doing for the past 50 years is stick plasters on the symptoms. We need to scrap prohibition -that's the problem.

The legal vs illegal psychoactive drug divide - and this distinction between what is legal or illegal has absolutely nothing to do with risk of harm, science or evidence!
Many people talk about drugs being a trap. For many people who are in chronic pain, drugs aren’t the trap. Pain is the trap. Often drugs are the one thing that lets them escape from some of their pain. Often fleeting, & rarely complete, the relief is the one thing that gives them a chance at some semblance of life and normalcy.
Drugs aren’t for everyone.
Nothing is for everyone. We are all different. What works best for one person doesn’t always work for another person & never works for everyone. But we need to allow each individual person to determine what works best for themselves, & allow them a chance at relief from their pain & suffering no matter how fleeting. It’s their suffering let’s let them decide what is best for themselves, each individual. That’s what being free means. Free to choose whatever modality works best for you & your condition.
What nobody is saying when these people in pain are “trapped” by opioids.
Many are trapped in pain.
Trapped in painful bodies with painful conditions.
Opioids aren’t a trap, they’re the one way people can have some semblance of a life.
Analgesics for chronic pain patients aren’t a trap.
The pain is the trap.
Abolish the DEA!
There’s no more worthless agency ever. Drugs are HERE. Corruption is everywhere in the agency & the Drugwar world. They stop less than 5% of all drugs coming into the country. The only thing the DEA is good at is arresting pain doctors and persecuting people in pain & attacking cannabis. That’s why they continue to go after cannabis & pain doctors. It’s safer than the cartels, a situation THEY created.
