But what happens to the HS2 land? Who buys it? Tory Donors? Sunak's associates? How cheaply will it be sold?
Is this an exercise of a dubious govt, with a year left, selling the lead off the roof of a country which can do nothing to stop it?

The land acquisition programme on Phase 2a will be halted immediately.
Any property/land that is no longer required for HS2 will be sold and a programme is being developed to do this.
