We are both humbled and beyond grateful for our Bishop and Chancellor's words in celebration of today's conference on the life, thought, and holiness of Bl. Fulton J. Sheen:
"As you gather today to study the thought of my predecessor, Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, may it ultimately be an opportunity to draw closer to Jesus. May Sheen teach us and inspire us to prioritize our relationship with the Lord and let every aspect of our lives flow from that relationship. May our work and study of theology, bring us to a greater knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, so that with Blessed Fulton J. Sheen, we may one day 'see Him face to face.'”
There's still time to join today online. Learn more and register via the link in our bio.

It was an honor for our President, Dr. Stephen Loughlin, and our Vice President, Dr. Matthew Kuhner, to present on "Artificial Intelligence and Theological Formation" during a workshop session at the Association of Theological Schools Biennial Meeting in Chicago!
Last week, St. Bernard’s students had the opportunity to take part in our annual Abbey Retreat Course, which this year focused on the theme of spiritual formation. Together, they explored the many dimensions of encountering God in prayer through the lives and writings of the saints.
Students spent five days immersed in the peaceful rhythms of monastic life at the Abbey of the Genesee. Alongside this unique experience, they participated in thoughtful discussions led by Professor Lisa Lickona, S.T.L.
We are deeply grateful to the Abbey of the Genessee for their hospitality and continued partnership in making this enriching and transformative experience possible for our students.
We're overjoyed to be celebrating this year’s 45th annual Commencement Ceremony today! For those unable to make the ceremony in person, live-streaming of the event is available via the link below. Please note this event begins at 3:30pm EDT.
Many thanks to Sacred Heart Cathedral for live-streaming our Commencement!

NEW ON THE BLOG | Dr. Taylor Patrick O'Neill (@thomaesplendor), professor at Thomas Aquinas College, shares about the need to renew Catholic moral theology by recovering its supernatural focus and spiritual depth.
Reflecting on recent decades of theological development, he argues that moral theology must be more than a guide to avoiding sin. Drawing on the Church’s rich tradition of grace, holiness, and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, he invites readers to rediscover the true goal of the Christian life: union with God and sanctity.
