This team simply don’t know when it’s beat. Something special going on. 77 minutes with 10 men. Booed off the pitch at halftime by some supporters after a fairly rubbish first half.
Second half every single one of them played for the badge and put in a phenomenal shift. Rightly falling the deck in exhaustion at full time. They played for us and played for each other 2nd half. Just need to speed the decision making up and cut out the silly mistakes.
2nd half the team reacted well to the saints support and gave us something to sing about. Unbelievable effort.
Alic and Cotterill superb. That 2nd was unbelievable. Ross Sinclair with some unbelievable saves to keep it at 2-2. Diabate a lot of mistakes but credit where it’s due he must have headed 10 balls out the box last 10 mins.
That genuinely feels like a win. An unbelievable effort second half and rightfully clapped and sang off the park at full time by the saints fans.
If any Portsmouth fans are wondering how Toby Steward is getting on in the Scottish Premiership with us then he’s currently top of the chart for saves after 11 games (We’ve played every team now).
Notable Man of the match performances against Celtic, Hearts and Rangers who will almost certainly finish the season in the top 3 places. Strong performances against Dundee United and Motherwell too.
Played 11 with 4 defeats against Hearts. Celtic. Rangers and St.Mirren. Although multiple crucial saves in each of these stopped the scorelines being much higher.
I would go as far as to say our most important player currently but that’s a personal opinion.
Doing very well for a 21 year old goalkeeper in his second full season of professional football after winning promotion with us last season with 20 clean sheets (A league record)

Josh Fowler continues to silence the doubters who said he wasn’t good enough for St.Johnstone in the premiership.
Scored in the win over Kilmarnock.
Rescued us a point against Dundee.
Scored twice to give us a win against Hibs.
Scored to give us the win against Aberdeen.

Can’t be annoyed at that at all. Played some decent football and forced Johnstone in to a couple of decent saves. Defensively done well. Can be proud of our players for that performance. Definitely developing a style of play and positive signs.
For what it’s worth we got lucky that Celtic second goal should have stood I really don’t think that ball was out.

Aye soul destroying right enough watching clubs like St.Johnstone win 3 major trophies including a historic cup double. Watching them in Europe etc.
Coincidently since 2014 St.Johnstone have played in 3 cup finals and won them all. Hearts have played in 3 and won none.
