Our hearts are heavy with news of the horrifying attack on a Muslim family in London, ON. I’m praying today for this family and their loved ones.
Islamophobia has no place in our communities and we stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters against hate and discrimination.

Wear orange on Monday in memory of the Kamloops Residential School victims and all survivors/victims of residential schools. We encourage staff to learn more: read Tanya Talaga's "Seven Fallen Feathers" & Michelle Good's "Five Little Indians". We pray for all victims & families.
Tomorrow, all flags will be lowered at half-mast in memory of these & all residential school victims & survivors. We also encourage all #TCDSB students and staff to wear orange in a show of solidarity with residential school survivors and the “Every Child Matters” movement.
