Want to set yourself up for success in this business?
It starts with knowing as much as humanly possible.
@rbwalksintoabar shares the three habits that get you there, including the one most creatives skip: learning outside your lane.
Tell us in the comments: what are you learning right now that’s outside your lane?

A shoutout to those brave enough to put their art out into the world.
It isn't easy being judged as you seek representation, raise money or find an audience. Rejection, at any phase, is never not painful.
You should be proud. Never let one person's opinion dull your enthusiasm.
The project downloads and meeting requests are coming fast and furious already!
Congratulations to all already in and those on the rise! Excited to share more success stories as they happen!
Answers to the most common questions I've received:
- Approx 4,000 projects in the marketplace from 235,000 vetted by execs over 15 years. About 1.7%
- No AI reviews. Ever. Full transparency. Always.
- Once you're in the Marketplace, you're in for good.
- No hosting fees
- All in the Marketplace get notifications on project downloads & meeting requests
You earned it and your executive loved it.
Still in awe that my action thriller, Beasts of Humanity made it on to the @Stage32Scripts #stage32marketplace
Appreciate your support and congratulations on being in the top 1.7%!
As a screenwriter and filmmaker, I've been a longtime @Stage32Scripts fan. This week's launch of the Marketplace is epic! AND... I'm thrilled my half hour comedy series IMPOSTER MOM (inspired by real life events) became one of the first projects to earn a place at launch.

And even more movement on this front and in a number of other countries. The expansion continues.
You’ve been hearing me talk about all the work we’ve been doing in Italy and with various film commissions in the region through Stage 32 Certification. Always nice to get recognition for those efforts.
What started as an idea at the Torino Film Festival 11 months ago has turned into a movement.
Now we’ve been featured by both Cinema & Video International and Italy for Movies highlighting our global mission and specifically our expansion into Italy and the Italian entertainment industry
When I started Stage 32 15 years ago, my mission was simple: No matter where you live in the world, you deserve access to the people, education, and opportunities that can move your entertainment career forward. Seeing that mission continue to grow across borders is something I’ll never take for granted.
Over 1.5 million members worldwide on the platform, 70 film commissions, media companies and orgs we’re now working with through Stage 32 Certification, the world’s largest and leading entertainment education library, and we’re still just getting started!
Huge thanks to both publications for the fantastic coverage. More exciting news to come.
Much love ❤️

It's been a few days since I watched YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING and I can't stop thinking about it.
Truly a masterpiece. Brilliant at every turn. Layered, complicated, nuanced. A mirror.
Everything you want out of a film, but rarely get anymore.
Can't wait to see it again.

Absolutely a genius film! Still thinking about it.
