Really enjoyed this one, if you haven’t got tickets already then you’re out of luck. @StageJuneFourth @swkplay
Staged in the lead-up to the 35th anniversary, 'May 35th' at @swkplay is a powerful piece of political theatre seeking to ensure we do not forget what happened at Tiananmen Square.

Honest review: May 35th the play is everything I imagined and more.
The details interweaving family and society amidst tragedy and love and hope, were so vivid and clear that I began to reflect on my own advocacy and future on a deeper level.
Thank you, @StageJuneFourth. – at Camden Town, London
Enthralled to be at @StageJuneFourth for opening night in London!
The memorial wall was sobering and emotional to read, my father was excited to see it from the “outside” for the first time.
Thanks to @AmnestyUK for supporting all the actors & creatives to bring this to life.

Can’t wait to see May 35th in London soon!! 🇬🇧
My father was an activist from Shandong University, who manually printed flyers about the Tiananmen Square democracy movement with a small hand-held letterpress.
His classmates were full of hope as they took the trains to Beijing.
