I’ll tell you what problem it solves: the apathy that has crept into all design and policy since the end of the glorious 1980s. It is RAD. That’s its job. It is sick AF. What it isn’t is amalgamated, soulless corporate bullshit foisted on us by the lowest-common-denominator “let’s not offend anyone” crowd that has held social power for far too long - and everyone is over it. The Flying Cyber-Countache is cool, it really is… but the roadster they teased years ago that looked like a 2-door model S was the most beautiful car I had ever seen. That’s what I think a lot of us were hoping to own one day.
