This summer, hundreds of volunteers helped thousands of children to complete their challenge and join in with all sorts of activities- we could not have done it without them.
So it seems only fair we say an enormous THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped us this year.
We hope to see you again next year!

Last Saturday in our libraries was all about celebrating the #SummerReadingChallenge and reading, with fantastic events held across the county.
🎉Congratulations and thank you to all the children who took part in the Summer Reading Challenge in Surrey this year – we are very proud of your reading journeys 💜🤩
Big thank you also goes to all the families, authors, performers, and our staff and volunteers who helped make the finale celebrations so wonderful and special. Here’s just some of the lovely feedback we received:
“I was really impressed with the quality of the activities … It started the weekend off in such a good way and felt like a real celebration and something for them to feel proud of themselves for. Really continues that love of reading for them.“
