Congrats on a great run with Dallas Stars radio, Owen! Best of luck in the next chapter.
I’ve been sitting on this for a bit, but August 15th was my last day as the Dallas Stars radio host. I have resigned from the broadcast team after 10 years due to a new opportunity that was simply too good to pass up.

May be hard to see right now, but another strong year for Stars.
2nd most wins & points in franchise history, beat 2 most recent Cup champs in playoffs, young talent soared and they were one of last 3 teams again.
Thanks as always for watching/reading/following #TexasHockey
Congratulations Scott!
The Elmer Ferguson Award as voted by the Professional Hockey Writers Association has been awarded to Scott Burnside and the Foster Hewitt Award as voted by the NHL Broadcasters Association to Pierre Houde. Congratulations!
