Big congratulations to @seyedele, owner of @StarssFc, and his incredible team at @GetPaidHR on successfully raising $1.8M in funding.
A true superstar on and off the pitch building empires in both football and tech. We love to see it.

Tomisin Alasiri @Tomisin_Alasiri a.k.a Skarra Played for Superstar @StarssFc at Lagos Liga 2024. Just signed a professional contract with FC Sao Termas Vicente in Portugal. He will wear the shirt number 45.
He told Lagos Liga, “It’s been a journey for me to professional football and I’m pretty excited to get going because my target is still to get to the biggest levels and stages of professional football; play in the champions league, represent Nigeria. I know it all depends on the will of God and hardwork.
There is a lot of excitement but the hardwork has just begun”.
Sandra Omoniyi @Sandie_abeni whilst sharing her excitement said, “We extend our congratulations to Skarra and his family and we will continue to root for him whilst he flies the Nigeria flag off and on the pitch. He is one of our own and expect us to always share his progress and that of other Lagos Liga alumni as they advance through the ladder of the game.”

Yesterday, after the @LagosLiga dinner, I was giving a speech to members of @StarssFc and some of @FirecrackersFc team, at the end of my lecture I noticed that the entire restaurant staff had stopped what they were doing briefly to listen to me. (Was just us left in there and my voice is loud 😅)
I hope they took some positives.
The main themes I spoke about were around the accountability of individual effort in group activities that require a winning outcome, kindness to oneself, and training one’s mind to recognize opportunity and take advantage.
Thank you all for a great 2024 💫
Joy is definitely coming in 2025 🚀

I'm truly grateful to Seye and my amazing teammates. Without the opportunity to play, I wouldn't be where I am today. Huge thanks to Lagos Liga for providing me with this incredible platform, which has brought me fame and so much more. Thank you, 2024!
