I've released We Built a Dragon.
It’s not a long book. But it’s a real one.
It's available for preorder now on Amazon and will be available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Paperback on September 30th.
I wrote it for grieving kids.
For grieving parents.
In fact, for anyone who's grieving and needs to believe that grief can transform.
And for anyone who has ever tried to build hope out of broken pieces.
Go check it out. It will make you believe again.
If you need to.
Apparently I've been on X now for 12 months. In that time I've met some wonderful people, had some great conversations and been truly inspired by what others have created.
I've released a book, had some truly heart warming reviews of it and contributed to an anthology.
I'll be stepping back from X for a while though now. I find myself scrolling and wasting time when I could be writing or reading books.
I'll still check in from time to time, but I'll be removing the app from my phone so I can only consciously jump on when on my PC.
Feel free to DM me if you want my attention for something.
Happy New Year everyone!

Right then, my dear compatriots. The Zon is running a month-long UK promo for the first of the Hartmouth Horrors, the pioneer, the poor, godforsaken canary down the mine. Get in there and pay mere pence for a banging story. Then compel others to do so. Please and thank you 🙏🏼❤️
For all it's criticisms, plot holes, inconcistencies and ret-cons throughout, the last episode of Stranger Things was an absolute masterclass in emotional story telling.

I don't generally do new year resolutions. I'm a firm believer that the right time to change something in your life is now. That said I am planning to get another book completed in 2026.
What do you have planned for your 2026?

What a year it’s been for horror in general and Hartmouth in particular. Heartfelt thanks to those who’ve shown some love for these raucous little slices of small-town terror. I couldn’t have achieved even half of this without your kindness and support 🙏🏼❤️
