I’m running for mayor because Ottawa can do better. Not in another four years. Now. Let’s get the basics right, put Ottawa back on the right track, and build a city that works for everyone.

Mark Sutcliffe wants to talk about anything but his record. After four years, you can see why. On Monday, let’s turn the page and build a city that works.

.@_MarkSutcliffe's 2022 election platform pledged to lower recreation fees yet he's raised them. Every. Single. Year. Why should anyone believe thay he'd freeze the fees?
It’s so important to make time for our families without worrying about the cost of every activity. It was great to stop by Mini Space Kids Club in Kanata North and speak with families about keeping life affordable. That’s why my plan includes freezing recreation fees for families, helping parents save money while giving their kids more opportunities. #24en48

I am not a huge Chow fan but can we be real for a second… she’s been Mayor for barely 3 years, not even a full term. There are full 1 term Mayors in Canada with far less impressive records. If you’re mad about Toronto today it’s probably John Tory’s fault.
No endorsement from the Toronto Star is which telling about how it feels about Mayor Chow and her record. There’s always an element of the unknown with change. But the incumbent is well known, 40 years in public office, and the Star is saying it’s time for a change thestar.com/opinion/editoria…

Bay Ward lost its only indoor arena (Belltown Dome) due to lack of maintenance by the City. In 10 years 133 City facilities will reach end of life; 44 must close. Your 2.5% tax cap doesn't address the City's aging infrastructure.
I grew up in Bay Ward and spent many hours of my childhood in this park. The first stop on my tour of all 24 wards this weekend was a fantastic run through the area, right past the house where I grew up. Through my $10-billion infrastructure plan, we’re going to invest in parks and recreation spaces and protect and enhance our quality of life, which is rated number one in Canada. #24en48

You work hard, pay your taxes, and do your part. You deserve a city that does its part, too. I’m running for mayor because Ottawa can do better. Not in another four years. Now. Let’s get the basics right, put Ottawa back on the right track, and build a city that works.

Ottawa deserves more than four more years of being told why things can’t get better. I’m ready to work with council to fix transit, build affordable housing and deliver a city that works. That takes ambition, and I have plenty.

Weird that Neil says he's got "different priorities" than Catherine McKenney, whose priorities where ending chronic homelessness, fixing public transit, and protecting our environment. Anyways vote @LeiperOttawa if you want to build a city that works 🎈❤️

I see it in the Mayors eyes at debates, he’s nervous and anxious, he knows people aren’t excited to vote for him His team reassures him, pointing to decided and leaning poll numbers…but he knows I’ll see you soon Ottawa- now I’m off to write the Mississauga Mayoral poll report @bpellerin @EvanHPotter

Latest poll shows that, while Sutcliffe leads Leiper, 19% still undecided. Of these 61% will not vote for Sutcliffe(!). So, this will make an interesting finish on October 26! Ottawa Citizen ottawacitizen.com/news/alex-…

I have been saying for months that the high number of undecideds was bad news for Mark Sutcliffe. "Among undecided respondents, 61.5 per cent said they 'definitely will not vote for' Sutcliffe.” ottawacitizen.com/news/alex-…
