50 years of a nation that dares to explore. 🚀 From flags flying across @NASA’s Johnson Space Center to the patches worn on spacesuits, from the flag planted on the Moon to the one orbiting aboard the International @Space_Station, these symbols remind us who we are and what we strive toward. As America marks its 250th anniversary, we celebrate a legacy of discovery and look ahead with hope — continuing the work that carries us from Earth to the Moon, Mars, and beyond and into the next era of human space exploration.

I’ve been trying to explain this to folks in order to define our up/down weather patterns since spring started, but this makes it a little easier. This week also will have high temperatures that fluctuate between the 60s and 80s. It went from a nice beanie to an alien globule. Hope this helps. Image from NOAA and EU

We finally get to see it!!
Hello, Moon. It’s great to be back. Here’s a taste of what the Artemis II astronauts photographed during their flight around the Moon. Check out more photos from the mission: nasa.gov/artemis-ii-multimed…

Know parents, friends or family with kids in grades K-8? This Artemis site is offered by NASA just for them! The NASA site provides grade-specific resources including coloring sheets and puzzles for K-4, lunar regolith lessons and videos for 5-8, model rocket building, comics, Moon phases calendars, and interactive simulations. nasa.gov/learning-resources/…

Has anyone noticed that each has a "heart" shape? I think it's fascinating...

It looks lighter than pictures of it in the past. I think it's the spheres.
There are no words.

Now THIS is good news! Math is a language. Once the basics, are down then the fancy stuff is doable. Media and social media taught us to be unintelligent. We ALL have intelligence. Don't give it away to people who don't care. Source: The Hechinger Report search.app/9uxWM

At the risk of sounding like an alien conspiracy person, I don't see a tail. I see a glowing object surrounded by less glowing objects. Of they're talking about the fluffy dust trailing behind..... I'm not buyin' it. 😉

The need is to have students reading independently by the BEGINNING of third grade. Then a careful selection of book-per-month keeps them reading and engaged thereafter. Source: Education Week search.app/HE8mb

How did we get here? Reading is solidified by the end of second grade. I'm very sad and highly confused that ANYONE could be writing about how tutoring or closed reading STARTS after 3rd grade?! #worldturnedupsidedown Before 3rd Grade, Not After share.google/YGhxrDsFEuNzqv9…
