Loved Steppy at City, even though he only played about 15 games. Met him outside Maine Road... very friendly and happy guy...

Very moving from @BoyGeorge on the way he’s been dropped by friends and the whole experience has made him ‘grow up’. Because he dared to write the line ‘I stand with the Jews’ in a song he wrote ‘on a whim’.

City fan for over 50 years, but even I had to do a double take here...
Imagine showing these two pictures to someone who doesn’t watch football and trying to convince them they’re TWO completely different players from TWO different countries 😭😭

Jim Morrison's arrest history: The rebellious rock star that was one of the original Rock and Roll bad boys was arrested multiple times. The 'Lizard King' was first arrested at age 19 while attending Florida State University for disturbing the peace, public drunkenness, petit larceny (stealing a police officer's helmet and umbrella), and resisting arrest. He spent a night in jail but the case didn't go to court Strange Days and The 1967 New Haven incident Mr Mojo Risin' became the first rock performer arrested live on stage. After a pre-show backstage altercation and macing by a Cop, Morrison launched into a profanity-laced rant about the cops during the set, leading officers to pull him off stage and arrest him for indecency, public obscenity, and inciting a riot. (The charges were later dropped) In 1968 he was arrested outside a club in Las Vegas following an altercation with a security guard and was charged with vagrancy, public drunkenness. He spent a night in jail 'Waiting For The Sun' Morrison Hotel and that Miami concert: he faced severe charges including lewd behavior, indecent exposure, public profanity, and drunkenness after allegedly simulating masturbation and oral copulation on stage. He was later convicted in September 1970, sentenced to six months in prison and a fine, though he died in July 1971 before the appeal could be heard. (He received a posthumous pardon from Florida Governor Charlie Crist in December 2010) Jim Morrison and his friend Tom Baker were arrested by the FBI after landing in Phoenix, Arizona, following a disruptive, alcohol-fueled disturbance aboard a Continental Airlines flight from Los Angeles in 1969. Seated in first class, Morrison and Baker drank heavily, threw glasses and bottles, smoked cigars under a no-smoking light, made crude remarks to the flight attendants, and accidentally hit stewardess with a lavatory door. Charged with drunk and disorderly conduct, assault, and interfering with a flight crew and facing potentially 13 years in prison. The charges were eventually dropped because a key witness failed to identify Morrison, a result seemingly aided by him altering his appearance and hairstyle before the trial The End.
