Ollie Bearmans representatives have been in contact with Cadillac! Initial conversations have taken place but is at an early stage, they also were in contact with Aston Martin. His future with Haas is uncertain and could be an option for Cadillac if they decide to change from Bottas in the near future. (@tiagomendonca_)

Remember that Michael Andretti was rejected by FOM due to concerns regarding competitiveness and financial values. Now their drivers are P23 and P24 in a 22-driver World Championship, and their debut season isn't even over yet and they're looking to sell. I was hyped for Cadillac coming to Formula One, but it's been a major disappointment so far. I actually thought they weren't looking too bad at the start of the season, being a completely new team and everything, but all the trouble Aston Martin is going through just made them look better than they actually are, I think. The upgrades have done nothing to improve the Cadillac cars.

This all feels like one ginormous Jenga tower, ready to topple, all because Michael Andretti wasn't deemed good enough to own an #F1 team. Cadillac rapidly turning into Jaguar 2.0 with an owner ready to jump.

Hirakawa honestly crushed it. Didn't light the world on fire but he proved the argument right. F1 drivers are really good, but it doesn't mean all the world's best must be racing there.

Every time something happens with a driver seat these days, I get reminded how strange and attached people are to these complete strangers. It’s nuts to me.

Karun Chandhok on Esteban Ocon being replaced at Haas without explanation for this Grand Prix: "What Haas can say is that he is not being replaced because of any illness so we can put two and two together and come to the conclusion that the fallout [from Ocon questioning the decision to put him on medium tyres in Friday practice] carried on into the debrief and whatever discussions there were later on and the team have decided to stand him down. "From my opinion, I get you are trying to learn whatever you can from FP2 and gain information for the race but that is not necessarily worth the battle with your team. I think you have to be smart picking your battles." #MexicoGP #HaasF1 #F1 via [@SkySportsF1 ]

Happened to the same driver twice but people refuse to believe/accept that Esteban might have a major part to play in both decisions because of his public persona. You don’t get dropped from two teams mid season if you’re the great guy you publicly display. Just not buying it.
TGR Haas F1 Team reserve driver Ryō Hirakawa will replace Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix. Ryō participated in FP1 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez on Friday, his third free practice outing of the season driving the VF-26, finishing 15th overall. The Japanese driver will partner teammate Ollie Bearman through final practice and qualifying on Saturday and Sunday’s 71-lap grand prix – marking Ryō's Formula 1 race debut. No further statements will be made at this time. #HaasF1 #F1 #MexicoGP | @ryohirakawa

From the outside looking in you want to like Esteban Ocon, and feel he’s been hard done by at times. But the fact of the matter is that fallings out and internal team conflict follow him like a bad smell, it can’t keep always being someone else’s fault when it always involves him
