A decade later, the case remains unsolved. The Culpeper Police Department continues its investigation to identify and hold those responsible accountable. WHAT HAPPENED ON OCTOBER 9, 2016? Around 3:00 a.m., Culpeper Police responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Jefferies Alley. Officers found Pullen lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. INVESTIGATION REMAINS ACTIVE No charges have been filed. Detectives continue reviewing evidence, records, and witness accounts, using modern technology and resources to pursue leads. Authorities believe some community members may have information but have not come forward.
