Why are @EnvAgencyMids staff at risk from long and short term exposure to hydrogen sulphide gas, but the residents the other side of the fence are perfectly safe

Very suspicious indeed. The site has been spewing its filth for weeks, much worse than ever. Low and behold the monitoring of said filth isn’t ‘working correctly’. @ClareDinnisEA will no doubt disappear for a few weeks/months, again. Everything in order? 🙄

The Environment Agency (EA) released a statement earlier this month confirming it had conducted an unannounced inspection at the Silverdale site.
