Don’t let anyone con you: $1,000,000 is life-changing money for 90% of the world’s population.
The “$1M is nothing” crowd is made up of underachievers living in their parents’ basement who will never have anywhere near a mil.

$SPX | Market Map — October 26, 2026
Chance of finding a trade opportunity today = Medium 🟠
Zone 1: 7774–7794
🟢 Pivot: 7690
Zone 2: 7674–7696
Zone 3: 7545–7565
SPX remains inside the wider choppy structure.
For today, I’m watching the Pivot at 7690 closely. If price reaches this level and shows clear weakness or rejection, it could create a good PUT opportunity.
The key is not simply reaching the level — I want to see confirmation that sellers are taking control before entering.

This looks like it would take 10 mins, max, to clean up, a fee that you charge to every guest.
If you think that is messy, maybe being an Airbnb host isn’t for you.
"Nobody needs to be a multi-millionaire. Tax the rich!"
Cool, let’s start with Congress. We’ll tax every politician down to the median American’s net worth first. If they’re still on board after that, I’ll listen to the rest of their plan.
My latest on Substack.
I don't care if rich people are taxed more. They'll be fine.
I care that people somehow believe that if the government only got more revenue, they'd magically start helping people who actually need it.

So after years of new cars, takeout, and vacations, the typical American has saved… less than $1,000.
At some point, it’s not “the system”.
It’s the choices.
I'd be okay with higher taxes if the government showed it could be trusted with my tax dollars.
They repeatedly haven't.

Because they aren’t houseguests. They are paying customers.
Do you bus your table and wash your dishes at restaurants, like you might do as someone’s houseguest?
Of course not. If Airbnb hosts don’t understand the difference, that platform is completely cooked.
its just bonkers the new policy @airbnb is trying to put in place. Putting the dishes in the dishwasher, taking out the trash, pulling the sheets off the bed....they are just standard things any normal person would do when staying at a house. Why wouldn't a host be allowed to say that?
We cannot become this. It's incredible how so many college-educated people are fully reliant on the system just to survive. This is absolutely nuts for a first world country.
“59% of food bank users have a post-secondary education. 50% have full-time employment…
The social contract has been broken.”
Millions of Canadians were lied to.
They went to college, played by the rules, found full-time jobs only to discover that a paycheck no longer guarantees food on the table or a roof over their heads.
A warning here for Americans as well.
What happens to a country when doing everything “right” is no longer enough to build a decent life?
That is a Broken Country...
Broken Country is a new documentary examining how Canada went from one of the safest and most prosperous countries in the world to a nation struggling with an affordability crisis, homelessness, public disorder and a growing loss of faith in its institutions.

What am I doing wrong with Airbnbs?
We’ve had:
- Broken beds
- Carpets ripping up
- Pots/pans from the 60s
- HVACs that miss whole rooms
- Water heaters that barely work
Glowing reviews, always.
Reminder that the IRS accepts donations.
If you believe that the only thing between the government suddenly deciding to help people in need instead of wasting money is *more money*, then write a check and send it to the IRS.
I’m sure they’d appreciate it.

FYI: Being hated by people you don’t like and would never take advice from is not a bad thing.
Embrace it.

"I have this vision some days of Canadians coming face to face with God and saying, 'What did you do with this country I gave you?'"
That's the right question. Not "who broke it," but what did WE do with what we were given?
A country requires stewardship. Every generation inherits one and hands it down, and someday every one of us gives an account to God for what we did with it, by His standards, not our own.
Yes, that includes our own moral conduct in public and in private.
Broken Country is a documentary about how Canada got where it is: the crime, the drug deaths, the healthcare system, the middle class getting squeezed out. Americans should watch it too (as in, this is where those same policies lead).
