#OnThisDay in 2024, ring announcer Samantha Irvin (@SamanthaTheBomb) announced she was leaving #WWE
She said herself she wasn’t allowed to work in combat sports or wrestling for two years.
That would make her free to sign with any promotion as early as today 🎤

Adam Copeland: The Long Way Home premieres Monday on MLP YouTube.
Wrestling starts at #2 in 1900.
It falls out of the top 20 in 1984, which interestingly was the year Hulkamania was born, and usually acknowledged as the start of modern pro wrestling going mainstream and becoming part of pop culture.

For the first time since 2019, a player named Will Smith won’t win the World Series 😳
Between the Dodgers catcher and the pitcher who played for the Braves, Astros and Rangers, the two Will Smiths combined for SIX straight World Series titles from 2020-2025 👏
The streak officially ended with the Dodgers’ elimination from the postseason.
