True competitive advantage lies not in your actions, but in the relentless standards you demand of yourself while taking them. The difference is rarely developed from what you do and often created from how you do it.

Just read a study that says coaches only have between 30-40% recall of events during matches. Shows the importance of recording games and splitting roles between assistances to help get a more complete overview of performance

If you can’t communicate successfully to your players then can you coach them? In all team sports the art within the art is being able to communicate to the whole team but also directly to the individual player. coach.basketball.net.au/comm…

Unfortunately 70% of kids quit sports before the age of 13. Important to remember is that not every kid wants to compete or play at an elite level. The majority just want to have fun. As coaches & parents, let’s respect and keep in mind that it should be their choice and journey.

Being a coach developer is a fantastic & fascinating role It isn't about trying to fix or solve problems for people It is more about being a sounding board, critical friend & source of support From my experience bringing "the power of the outsider" is of huge value to everyone

Some questions post game to children, instead of the traditional, "Did you win". 1. Did you enjoy that? 2. Was it good fun? 3. We're your friends there? 4. Tell me something you did well? 5. Will we practice that? Look beyond winning & losing to define what success looks like.
