You are up against global Bolshevism. They say it to your face. They have trained three generations now to laugh whenever anyone says "communist". They own your schools. They own your media. They own your entertainment.
They have only three goals. Obtaining power, retaining power, and crushing any dissent to their power. That's it. That is what makes them effective.

I don't personally care about doing video game rewrites myself. But the whole concept that some busybody can tell me what I may not do with the tool I am paying for is deeply offensive.
You will be replaced by open-weight and open-source models. Every asshole move like this makes you more enemies and brings that day closer.

Claude Code picked up a new rule around Oct 27, sent from Anthropic’s servers under a flag called "tengu_heron_brook". There’s no setting to turn it off.
The full rule: “Do build original games, games in a genre, and games from the user’s own designs and assets. Don’t build a recreation of a specific existing game, even if it is renamed or called original.”
Is this the end of game rewrites, modding and everything in between?

PS5 now runs SteamOS... a community project called Bazzite boots a jailbroken PlayStation 5 straight into Steam's Gaming Mode, the same interface as the Steam Deck, with a full KDE desktop.
It runs from a USB drive (32 GB or more), started by rmux's PS5 Linux loader. The console itself isn't modified, so restarting it brings back a normal PS5. Steam games run through Proton, with support for 4K60 over HDMI, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the DualSense. It needs a PS5 on a firmware the loader supports (tested on 13.60), and the PS5 Pro got first support in v1.8.4.
