dont let me see any Chinese making memes about US president. Pass or present
🚨🇫🇷🇨🇳 Chinese President Xi Jinping on Mbappé’s viral dictator meme controversy:
🗣️“I understand that Kylian Mbappé may not have fully understood the consequences of his remarks. Perhaps he saw it as an innocent joke, but not everyone will find such humour funny.
“He may not have intended to disrespect China or its people.
“However, intention and impact are two different things.
“When you are a global figure with millions of followers, your words carry significant weight.
“What appears harmless to one person may be deeply offensive to another.
“I believe Mbappé was joking without fully considering how his comments would be received in China.
“Nevertheless, our history and national dignity are matters we take seriously.
“I hope he now understands why his remarks have generated such a strong reaction.
“Famous athletes must recognise that humour can have consequences beyond their immediate surroundings.
“Being a football superstar does not exempt anyone from taking responsibility for their words.
“At the same time, I believe people should have the opportunity to learn from their mistakes.
“I hope Mbappé reflects on this incident and understands the importance of cultural sensitivity.
“An apology can be a meaningful first step towards rebuilding trust.
“We do not expect everyone to understand every aspect of our culture immediately.
“But we expect respect when discussing matters that are deeply important to our people.
“I hope he learns from this experience, moves forward with greater understanding, and avoids a similar situation in the future.”

CZ Flags Shocking Claims in Ledger Wallet Exploit
Binance (@binance) co-founder Changpeng Zhao (@cz_binance) has questioned reports surrounding Ledger (@Ledger) wallet drainings linked to devices sold through Southeast Asian reseller CryptoBilis.
He said hackers allegedly bought the reseller and used a non-disclosure agreement to silence them.
Ledger confirmed affected devices were sold through CryptoBilis, while saying its own systems and direct sales remain unaffected.

To be honest, having stables on kaspa:native is not the hard part. The hard part is having centralized entity (like CEX, Businesses, Visa, Mastercard) adopting it. Which I don’t see Kaspa has the connection to do that.
Otherwise it will be just like an arcade token on Kaspa, just for fun

So I was emailed by some Wikipedia moderators asking me to justify the existence of an article about Sompolinsky (which is now up for deletion). I read the article, and it reads like promotional AI slop that gets a lot of details wrong, including wrong publication dates, wrong descriptions of technical terms, etc.. But I think the most embarrassing part was trying to pass him winning a glorified X poll by binance as "professional recognition and awards".
But the bottom line, I think, is that Sompolinsky is simply not significant enough to have a Wikipedia article.
I believe whoever tried this stunt honestly believes Sompolinsky is a historical figure. But they are wrong, and that's a huge part of the gap between how Kaspa (and cryptocurrencies in general, tbh) is viewed internally vs. externally.
Yeah, it has its merits, and there are reasons you love it. But at the end of the day, Kaspa is just another crypto project, founded by just another crypto founder, that has hardly made a dent in reality, or even in the cryptocurrency space outside the PoW mini-bubble. Despite its technical superiority, it failed to become revolutionary.
When you try to pass it off as something revolutionary, just because you think it should be, you come off as delusional. And if you truly think there is any "revolution" to Kaspa's name, outside a very narrow theoretical discussion, then you are delusional.
Promoting your project is fine, but Kaspa used to be about integrity (until Sompolinsky let his ego ruin everything, and most people with a modicum of integrity were driven away), and promoting it as you would any ye olde shitcoin just makes its few unique benefits drown in the brownish-gray, depressing sea of ramnants of what was once an industry.
Even though the NFT hype was over, but man
The art, the culture, the community was something different for top projects like @BoredApeYC and @cryptopunks
I was not from that era but looking back its still pretty dope
