The Sheriff's Dept. has a policy against soliciting employees for campaign donations. Once again Alex violates dept policies for his own gain. He clearly targets deputies for donations.

The news about LA City Council the past few days is outrageous, but not surprising. Until RIGHT becomes more important than RACE this will continue. During my campaign for sheriff, I saw this often where some pushed race over right. This is an inside norm and is not a surprise.

At the @kbla1580 candidate forum and I cannot believe how many flat out lies @LACoSheriff has rolling off his tongue. IE Mandoyan was not going to be fired. Yes he was, I wrote the dispo for his discipline and it was termination. Nothing he says is truthful.

The Grand Jury is hearing testimony regarding obstruction of justice charges stemming from Alex Viillanueva's handling of a force incident. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is in turmoil under his disastrous failed leadership.
Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association endorsed @LACoSheriff for sheriff, the most unprofessional person that's ever held this office.
BTW this was a Board decision that did not go to the membership. Most telling was their statement of why.
PPOA, what were you thinking? Is this department so incestuous and so against an outsider that you would support a sheriff who has clearly been an embarrassment and detriment to this department. If anything you should have went with no endorsement rather than endorse Alex.
You truly got this one wrong and misrepresented your membership. I have spoke to many and they are disgusted with this position.
