The Alberta govt just *happened* to make an error adjustment today in Covid case counts (dating back from December). Conveniently, this makes it look like our daily new case count didn’t just TRIPLE in a week (it did). What kind of dystopia are we living in?? #COVID19AB #abpoli

It also might also make the current upswing in cases look smaller than it actually is. Removing dozens of cases from December doesn't really mean anything when it comes to current trends, which are suddenly swinging upward — especially in Calgary:
