From today, #Goalkeepers2030 begins in NYC. It's been the most special association of my life. I have spent 3 years on its Global Advisory Board with the amazing @gatesfoundation and helped create this community in a small way. Can't wait to meet old friends and make new ones ❤️

I would like to share the story of how a patient with cancer came up with the idea for a randomized trial, & how listening to him saved a lot of lives. 1/ In 2002, I had just completed a randomized trial with the notorious drug thalidomide for the cancer, multiple myeloma.

PLEASE RT! I am disabled and I got married at the Registrars Office at Khar Mumbai on 16/10/23. The office was on the 2nd floor WITHOUT a lift. They wouldn’t come downstairs for the signatures and I had to be carried up two flights of stairs to get married.
