This is so fuggin cool. How filmmakers use lighting, different cameras/lenses, color scheme, etc. to evoke a specific emotion from an audience & set the tone of a story will forever be fascinating to me.

I’ve been on a Martin Scorsese - Robert De Niro kick lately, #NowWatching some Raging Bull to cap it off. Cheers Twitter Fam 🥂

It wouldn’t be a nice, relaxing Sunday morning without watching some Mean Streets. Scorsese always does such a great job of weaving morality into the protagonists’ struggle. Who else loves this movie??

I’m a sucker for a good heist movie & this definitely delivered the goods. Clooney & Pitt as a tag team were as charming as you’d expect. But my big takeaway from the movie is this: I miss Bernie Mac 😔

This could not be more true. Seasons 1-5 were great, but the show went to a new level when Leon showed up in season 6. And the Mocha Joe vs. Latte Larry storyline in season 10? Comedic gold.

#NowWatching Eraserhead for the first time. This is one of the most recommended classics I have yet to watch. Excited to dive deeper into David Lynch

It’s certainly very clear why this is such a cult classic. It gives the audience just enough story to hold on to while filling the space with amazingly unique and eerie symbolism. The soundscapes designed for this movie really take ahold of you! What are your thoughts?
