I used to make fun of Lloyd deMause's "psychohistory" theory of child sexual abuse as the engine of global cultural differences but lately I can't stop thinking about how the "Global Latina Belt" corresponds exactly to the strongholds of his infanticidal-incestuous mode

If we're an ancestor simulation we're probably a random joke somebody made at a party.
"What if Donald Trump had been president at the singularity? lol."
"*burp* I'm gonna type it in."
"Haha, no wait. That's too mean to that world. You can't put them through that."
"Too late."

#1 reason why i dont talk to religious people about mental health
This quoted post is unavailable.
And Indian leftists pedal, for some reason, the influence of Indian religions on Nazism, lol.
So found out that Adolf Hitler in a private conversation at the dinner with some Muslim guests bemoaned that Muslims lost the battle of Poitiers and delineated at length about what would have happened if Muslims had won. He said Germany would have been Muslim and armed with virile Islamic religion, Islamised Germans would have dominated the world. Not sure this was a commendation any Muslim would want. @grok please fact check.
Replying to @theRealYLH
The claim is largely accurate. Albert Speer recorded in Inside the Third Reich that Hitler, after hearing the story from Arab visitors, said if Muslims had won at Tours/Poitiers the Germanic peoples would have become Muslim, with Islamized Germans leading a world-dominating empire, as the faith better suited their temperament than "meek" Christianity. A similar remark appears in Hitler's Table Talk (28 Aug 1942), though that source's exact wording is debated by historians due to later editing.

Vulgar leftists also have this perception of queerness as some first world luxury that can just as easily be taken away
I get why people like this approach but emptiness w.r.t ultimate truth and affirming conventional reality of the world makes more sense to me, enlightenment is not supposed to lead you to either attachement or detachment.

But neither does he fall into the trap of the anti-realists that deny an absolute or ground of being.
You get best of both worlds in their proper areas.
- Emptiness & nothingness in relation to the world
- Positive Affirmation of The Absolute
You need to grant emancipatory label to Gandhi's use of religion and particularly hinduism if you wanna stitck to this idea, which makes sharjeel's analysis of formation of Indian freedom movement moot.
Religion is not a thing with fixed properties. It is a terrain of struggle that different class forces attempt to mobilise for different projects. Whether a particular religious movement is emancipatory or reactionary depends on who is mobilising it, for what purpose, and in what material context. Religion must be analysed in relation to the material base of the society in which it operates
