٢. اخترْ بقلبك: ليكن القرار نابعًا منك وحدك، صادقًا، بلا ضغطٍ ولا إكراه.
٣. اقصدِ المسجد: زُرْ مسجدًا أو مركزًا إسلاميًا قريبًا، وأخبر الإمام برغبتك في التعلّم؛ فأبواب المساجد مفتوحةٌ للزائرين.
٤. انطقِ الشهادتين: عادةً بحضور الإمام وبعض الشهود: «أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، وأشهد أن محمدًا رسول الله».
٥. تعلّمِ الأركان: الصلواتُ الخمس، وصيامُ رمضان، والزكاة، والحجّ لمن استطاع إليه سبيلًا.
٦. اصحبْ رفيقًا ومجتمعًا: فالطريقُ أيسرُ مع من يمشي معك.
لا يدخل أحدٌ في الإسلام صدفةً، ولا يدخل أحدٌ عن غيره؛ فلكلّ إنسانٍ اختياره، بينه وبين ربّه.
