If this GIF has ever brought you joy in the past, I humbly ask you to consider making a donation to the National MS Society. It would mean a lot to me and to those I know affected by the disease!

42,000 children’s teeth were extracted in 2021/2022. Cost to NHS £81m 😳 Many complaints this morning about unacceptable hospital wait times for GA. 🤷Are we missing the point? Dental caries is a preventable disease. Let’s address the cause, not the problem @BOSbraces @bspduk

We recently visited St Joseph’s Catholic Primary school in North Shields.
We hope the children enjoyed the visit and enjoyed learning about things such as sugary foods and drinks, how to brush teeth effectively and what visiting the dentist is like!
Here are some pictures 🦷💙

Excellent piece by @timspector @thetimes on the importance of diet in the first years of life & power of misleading marketing.
We’re kidding ourselves if we think our children are having a healthy diet.

As tis the season of chocolate for breakfast….here’s a thread on my top tips for healthy teeth - all ages and every day of the year 🧵

We got chance to read them Open Wide What’s Inside @Sugarbugs written by Dr Alex Rushworth which they really enjoyed! The children also dressed up as the ‘dentist’, practiced toothbrushing on models and learnt about sugary vs less sugary foods.
