C Scientists warned that in regions where sea levels have already risen, the situation could become even more severe due to the influence of the moon. #ActNow #ActOnClimate #Limit1o5

The city's greatest strength isn’t its infrastructure. It is its people — neighbours helping neighbours, volunteers supporting families and communities working together. Also a city that prepares, adapts and protects everyone — especially those most vulnerable! #ResilientCities

In these countries, the governments exhibit an authoritarian mindset and remain indifferent to the aspirations of the youth. The conduct of the police invariably mirrors that of the government, while the courts, too, are unable to deviate from the government’s directives. Much like in Bangladesh and Nepal, the lower courts in #India are currently failing to deliver justice to the youth. The police carry out arbitrary arrests and the courts either remand the individuals to jail or compel them to sign a document like a so-called "Peace Bond"—stipulating that they must not participate in any future protests. Such actions amount to a form of hypocrisy in the treatment of the youth. #SystemChange

Gen Z Protests Reshaping Asia Politics. Outcomes in India, Nepal, & Bangladesh show why the test of movements extends beyond protests. Without institutional pathways to translate protests into policy, they risk being co-opted or dissipating into chaos. portside.org/2026-10-17/how-…

This city is on track to run out of water by 2030! #Kabul #WaterCrisis
Compounding Kabul's rapidly growing population is the climate crisis, which is making the weather hotter, drier & disrupting the balance of the water cycle. #LocalAction #WaterAction

There isn't yet compelling evidence that the US or Israel are behind the protests in India (in contrast with recent regime changes in 🇳🇵 and 🇧🇩), but Indians must be vigilant. The US might want to replace one puppet with another. Thus far I don't see enough reason to think so.
Someone claims India is facing a colour revolution. How funny! Why would America and Israel organise a colour revolution against their own puppet government?
Remember, just two days before Israel started its war against Iran, Modi visited Israel and called Israel the fatherland and India the motherland. When Israel killed Khamenei, Modi was the only BRICS leader who did not condemn the killing.
The Modi government is one of Israel’s biggest supporters, and Modi is the only Indian prime minister to have visited Israel. Google India’s relations with Israel, Iran, and Russia before the Modi government and see how dramatically they changed after Modi came to power.
When America and Israel are establishing pro-Israel governments throughout Latin America, why would they destabilise one of the most pro-Israel governments in Asia? The “colour revolution” story makes no sense.

This is the India of October 10th. To halt the movement led by the nation's youth, the government has installed spikes on the roads. Youth leaders #AbhijeetDipke, #AshutoshRanka #SauravDas spearheading the protests have been arrested. All railway stations in the city have been shut down. A prominent YouTuber #DhruvRathee was detained; he has since stated that he was abducted by law enforcement agencies. Media reports indicate that approximately 7,000 protesters—including student leaders #NehaBora has been detained in Delhi, a city currently under a lockdown enforced by government security forces. #CJP #GenZ #India #RightToProtest #SystemChange

7 in 10 people on the Pacific's low-lying coasts live on ground that has never been precisely measured.
Yet without knowing the land's height and the depth of the water beside it, governments cannot say where floodwater will go.

Very true!! Never seen #UN stand firmly by those countries during times of crisis. Instead, under the guise of aid, they have weakened other institutions/NGOs so that they alone could play the dominant role. Through this process, they are establishing a monopoly over crisis-stricken and low-income nations, controlling governments and creating opportunities for corruption and the abuse of power. #rethink #systemchange
